Classic Crystal Chandeliers
Crystal glass has been used to adorn beautiful and awe-inspiring chandeliers for centuries and many of today's most popular and classic designs are direct descendants of the fittings which would gild the halls and ballrooms of the Palace of Versailles. The dazzling shine and range of colours which are refracted from the crystal when illuminated are unmistakeable and have greatly contributed to the chandelier's reputation as ultimately a classic and iconic light fitting design. True chandeliers by definition are finished in 24-carat gold or polished chrome. However, several manufacturers also provide chandeliers in alternate finishes such as nickel, antique brass and polished brass. It is extremely common for designs to come in variations on the amount of luminaires – a typical range may include 3-light, 5-light, 9-light and 12-light fittings.
Swarovski
Swarovski crystal is arguably the most prestigious and famous crystal manufacturer in the world. With a preceding reputation spanning two centuries, crystal glass is still made at their factories in Austria under the strictest artisan specifications. Many people believe the raw material used in Swarovski crystal occurs naturally, like rock crystal, however it is completely man made in Austria using centuries-old techniques perfected by Daniel Swarovski and his sons. In 1955, Swarovski collaborated with the designer Christian Dior to create the aurora borealis crystal, named so due to its resemblance to the Northern Lights phenomenon.

The difference between Swarovski crystal and standard glass is a much higher density and purity; the quality of crystal is dependent on the production method and the processing of the raw material. Both factors play a major role in determining its brilliance and the measure of its value. The factor that sets Swarovski crystal products apart is -and always has been - the superior quality of the cutting and polishing. In recent years, a crucial role has also been played by exceptionally creative in - house and freelancse designers.

Using traditional glass blowing techniques honed over centuries in Venice and it's surrounding towns, hand-made and blown glass is becoming a popular design component due to its versatility, delicate nature and sophistication. Absolutely beautiful ceiling lights, wall lights, table lamps and floor lamps can be created using hand-made and blown glass; fittings which provide an air of luxury and refinement in any environment. The variety of colours available provides flexibility and gives a unique edge to the glass, as just some of the pigmentations include amber, red, blue, azure, black, white and of course crystal clear

Lanterns
Our indoor designer lanterns are sourced directly from manufacturers with reputations for the highest quality materials and production processes. Indoor designer lanterns represent class and sophistication, and so the visual appearance must reflect this. State-of-the-art electroplating methods are utilised to apply pure gold, bronze and chrome to the fittings, while the glass is sourced in Italy.

The finest lanterns we provide are made from the very best cast brass. Cast brass is an alloy of copper and zinc, and features qualities which ensure it lasts almost indefinitely in all weathers.
